Basically the club attends two main events during the year. There are others too but they vary from year to year. The compulsory ones are;
Billing Aquadrome VBOA Rally
This is a weekend event held during the middle of July. Along with the outlaws AGM, held on the Saturday evening, the event is the largest gathering of Vauxhall cars
on the planet. It really is! There is always something interesting to see here, from immaculate restorations and customised vehicles to bangers and daily drivers to one offs
and race cars.
The autojumble is also a big attraction with its mainly Vauxhall - Opel specific stock which makes for more choice for what you want! Camping prices are reasonable for the weekend
and the weather is usually, but not always, pretty good.
Santa Pod RWYB
We normally visit Santa Pod once a year in September / October for a run-what-ya-brung event.
This is not a closed event, there are other cars attending as well and the type of machinery to be seen is phenomenal,
ranging from full on drag racers to hot rods and standard road cars. It's a good time of year to test out all of those modifications
you've been working on all summer, to see if your quarter mile times improve. Entry fees are quite reasonable for the day and with a one off fee, you can race as much as you like!
Even if you're not in your Viva, it's a worthwhile visit so bring your friends too!
