Here is a hand built racer by the owner of the Vauxhall Dealership In Haywards heath. Owned since new and it has never been used on the road, but it's road legal. Used for sprints etc like the Brighton Speed trials on Brighton Sea front. It is the second oldest Viva GT registered at the present time.
Spec is 2.3 engine with twin 45s? special big bore exhaust manifold which exits forwards from the head before returning under the car where the floor has been raised/ chopped to allow it to run higher up along the passengers side of the gearbox tunnel. Special cam as there is a vernier cam pulley. Home built engine mounts sitting off the front side of the subframe, extra anti roll bar at the front which attaches to the top wishbone, but on the lower side of it. Homemade dash pod. Modified steering column using a Triumph U.J. and an HC steering rack. Coburn diff cover and braced rear axle, fibre glass bonnet, Escort bubble arches and massive Revolution wheels.
